roleModel of the Week: Dale Noelle

You are such a beautiful & inspiring woman; tell us about your journey to becoming the Founder of TRUE Model Management?

Throughout my career, I had introduced many industry professionals to each other and they encouraged me to create a business supporting my passion for cultivating relationships. Opening TRUE was a natural progression for me to formally connect friends and business associates as a manager and was founded under unique circumstances. When I was pregnant and diagnosed with cancer, I was forced to stop modeling but I wanted to continue working in the industry so I parlayed by skills and connections into building TRUE. As a catalyst for positive changes, TRUE and I strive to help make the world a better place.

Have you always led a healthy and active lifestyle? If not, what made you change? Was there a defining moment?

I have always been active and strong but not always healthy. As a child I was naturally thin and pushed myself to the limits with gymnastics and baton twirling. I won trophies and tournaments, but my preoccupation with perfection came at a price. I became alarmingly skinny, and was diagnosed with Anorexia Nervosa when I was 12 years old. Luckily, through professional help, and the support and positive influence of family and friends, I fully recovered within a couple of years. My parents helped instill a sense of security in me during that period which continues throughout my life and I strive every day to lead a healthy life.

How do you balance being a Business Woman and being a SuperMom?

I strive for daily balance but I am continuously trying to improve my time management skills!

Incorporating exercise into my daily routine, eating unprocessed foods and drinking plenty of water keeps me energized. When I start feeling tension, I rely on a couple of breathing techniques, meditation and yoga to help me stay calm and maintain focus. The line between my work and my personal life can easily blur, so setting boundaries helps me maintain better balance, and know when it’s time to delegate tasks, power down and connect with loved ones and/or yourself.

I also create to do lists with time frames and assignments sorted into related groups. It may not be the system for everyone but outlining my tasks and priorities are the easiest way for me to keep track of everything.

I have a positive attitude and believe that everything happens for a reason. Viewing mistakes as lessons initiates growth and self-improvement. I enjoy helping others achieve their goals, and find opportunities in what others may view as misfortunes. When I am calm and happy, those attributes carry over to the workplace, making the balancing act much less stressful.

What inspired you to become a Health Coach and attend Institute for Integrative Nutrition?

Throughout my life, my Dad instilled in me the importance of physical fitness and healthy lifestyle and our family incorporated exercise in most activities. I was a personal trainer and am a yogi, I have an active lifestyle and I wanted to deepen my knowledge about nutrition and learn more about healthy cooking. Becoming a certified IIN coach also enabled me to regularly assist models in reaching their individual nutritional and fitness goals by adopting balanced and healthy lifestyles, improve energy and strengthen and tone their bodies.

What is your workout routine?

What motivates you?

I have a passion for connecting people, creating jobs, and having a purpose greater than myself. I love learning, and being an entrepreneur presents opportunities to continuously sharpen my mind, think outside the box and solve problems every day. Entrepreneurship keeps me on my toes and guides me towards self-actualization and becoming a better person. The joy of seeing dreams come to fruition is part of the reward of being an entrepreneur.

Who are your role models/ women who inspire you?

My greatest role model and inspiration is my grandmother. She was honest, open-minded, confident, funny, resourceful, compassionate, humble, selfless, optimistic, and stable. She mindfully embodied and exhibited qualities that drew people to her and she helped improve the lives of all those she touched. She never explicitly talked about her life mission ~ She simply lived it!

Do you have any upcoming projects you are working on that you would like to tell us about?

As reported by Forbes, to further TRUE’s commitment to philanthropy, I am launching TRUECares, which will be the philanthropic arm of TRUE Model Management. TRUECares will acknowledge models who are making positive differences in the world and giving back to their communities. TRUECares models donate a percentage of their earnings through TRUE to numerous organizations, and TRUE will match the donation percentage of each model. When clients book a TRUECares model, they will not only work with a professional model who will best represent the brand, but they will inevitably be making a positive difference in the lives of others. I will continue to push boundaries, pioneer innovation, and make positive contributions to the world through the fashion industry.

What are your favorite foods to eat?

Avocados and too many others to name!

As a Business Woman, Mom, and a Mentor, what advice do you have for young women just starting out in the modeling industry or on a new endeavor?

I believe purpose fueled by passion is a key to exceptional performance. It’s normal to have self-doubt and things that hold you back, but having a specific passion or cause that you’re working towards can help open doors. I also shared 10 tips on being on being a successful entrepreneur on my website. I also highly recommend the followings for everyone: Sleep well, practice deep breathing techniques and incorporate physical exercise into daily life, such as walking more often and going up and down stairs instead of taking elevators, lift grocery bags, etc. Eat healthy food and cut out all processed and fried food as well as soft drinks. Drink ample amounts of alkaline water and increase your consumption of vegetables.
