Group Sessions are a great opportunity to receive information and learn in a team building atmosphere. Whether it's speaking to a classroom, conducting a Model Me Master Class, or hosting a healing event from home, hosting a Runway Themed Birthday Bash, Lauren offers speaking/coaching engagements online and in person.
Meet Lauren
Lauren Deckert is an international model with over 26 years in the fashion industry and the founder of The Model Mentor®, a private coaching practice she has led for more than a decade.
Having lived and worked across five continents, her career has been shaped by global experience while remaining deeply rooted in New York City — the place she has long considered home.
Lauren’s work has been featured in Vogue Italia, Harper’s Bazaar China, Women’s Health, Brides, and Muscle & Fitness, among others. She has appeared on Netflix’s Next in Fashion and in national campaigns for L’Oréal Paris. For over two decades, she has walked for leading designers at New York Fashion Week, Miami Swim Week, and New York Bridal Fashion Week.
With a BA in Art History from Fordham University and advanced studies in nutrition, movement, and the healing arts, Lauren brings an unusually comprehensive perspective to model development and personal refinement.
In 2016, she founded The Model Mentor® — a highly personalized mentorship designed to guide both emerging and established talent with clarity, discretion, and industry precision. Her methodology integrates transformative thinking, mindful nourishment, and intelligent movement, forming the foundation of what is now known as The Model Mentor Method™.
In addition to her private practice, Lauren is the co-founder of Model Me Master Classes, hosting intimate training experiences in New York, Miami, and the Jersey Shore.
Beyond the industry, Lauren divides her time between New York City and the Jersey Shore, where life slows near the water and centers on family and nature.
