Low calorie Açaà Smoothie to go...
When buying açaà look for the frozen unsweetened packs. Sweetened açaà is not needed as it’s already naturally sweet. Another option is to buy Açaà powder and blend it with frozen fruit. Blend unsweetened açaà with a banana and other sweet fruit such as pineapple, berries, and mango. Use unsweetened almond milk, unsweetened coconut milk, and or filtered water. Don’t blend with sweetened juice or honey. There is really no need for it. The fruit will give it just enough sweetness. Skip the caloric or processed toppings such a granola. Granola doesn’t combine/digest well with fruit which can lead to bloating. Skip peanut butter. Açaà is so yummy naturally on its own!!!
